College Relations and Outreach

The College Relations and Outreach office is at the core of all campus-wide outreach and student success efforts. We provide outreach and recruitment to local feeder schools including Madera Unified, Golden Valley Unified, Alternative Education, and Adult Education sites.. In addition, staff regularly visit high school campuses, provide campus tours, assist prospective students with college planning, admissions and registration, facilitate assessment, and maintain communication with prospective students.

Monday & Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (closed for lunch)

Our office is located in TM-31(in the building with Cafeteria and Bookstore)

College Relations and Outreach participates in many community events including street fairs, local festivals, college and career nights, and many other activities. The program also coordinates several on-campus events designed to provide community members and students information about the College’s programs, services and activities and to increase access for diverse populations.

Student Ambassadors are pivotal members of the Madera Community College Center outreach team as they are often a prospective student's initial contact with the college. Student Ambassadors provide campus tours, assist MCCC outreach staff at various college outreach events and workshops, and represent MCCC at campus and community events. Ambassadors exhibit professionalism and pride when promoting MCCC and are dedicated to student outreach, success, diversity, and strengthening student connections.
