A number of accessibility training sessions were conducted at the district campuses for staff that included instruction on how to create accessible documents.
Establish an accessibility team or committee to review and update District accessibility policy.
Continue to build out District accessibility web pages that will contain District policy, training resources, guidelines, checklists, etc. The goal of the site is to make learning accessibility as simple as possible for District staff.
Conduct an accessibility audit of each District and campus website to ensure the sites are continuing to meet WCAG 2.0 AA and current Section 508 requirements. Improvements will be identified during this audit.
Performance tuning of the District and college home pages to load quicker on slower networks such as 3G.
Migrate the Measure E website using the Districts new Content Management System to meet current web standards. The site shall be responsive so that it will work on any device and shall meet WCAG 2.0 AA and Section 508 standards. This project is in process and is currently 40% complete.
Reviewing our online registration and forms to ensure accessibility on each campus, as well as, a process to review forms annually.
Redesign the District Police Department website using the Districts new Content Management System to meet current web standards. The site shall be redesigned to be responsive so that it will work on any device and shall meet WCAG 2.0 AA and Section 508 standards.
Migrate the Center for International Trade Development website using the Districts new Content Management System to meet current web standards. The site shall be responsive so that it will work on any device and shall meet WCAG 2.0 AA and Section 508 standards.
